Boat Owners

The latest excitement for us has been the purchase of a small ski boat. I would tell you more except we haven't actually seen it yet. We actually have no idea where we are going to store it or park it so we have to move in order to accomodate this new purchase. However, we are excited and looking forward to our trip to Utah in order to pick it up. I just really hope the Jeep can tow it.

The next point of excitement is (drum roll please)....I won Jeff two times playing tennis. I don't want to brag, but I think I'm getting pretty good. This must be my year because I think it is only the third time in over 3 years of marriage.

That is all that is new, I will have more pictures coming soon.

Just Kidding

So remeber how I was bragging that our snowmobiles still work after all this time? Well, I spoke too soon. Last weekend we went for our last ride of the season. We got to the very top of the mountain, stopped the sleds to check out the view, then decided to head back. Only my snowmobile decided that was all she could take.

Therefore, after multiple attempts to drag it down some "friendly boozers" gave us a boost toward the road with their more powerful machines. We then were able to use jensen's sled (which also decided to blow a hose...again requiring assistance from the friendly boozers) to bounce our way back to our handy jeep. Where once more the "friendly boozers" helped us load the old girl on the trailer and fed us some simmered summer sausages.

Thanks to the friendliest, kindest, boozers in the world!

Catching you up

A view of the lake from the ski mountain. Everyone here says they put up with the winter here because the summer is so awesome.. we are looking forward to morning waterskiing on this baby!

We still have the old sleds...and they still run. However we did have to store them at a friends for a few weeks because our landlord didn't like the gas leak coming from them. I thought white trash gas leaks were acceptable in Idaho!

Okay, so this is jensen before take-off and his complete yard sale. The next thing that was said came from the guy to his right. He yelled, "you know, people usually get stunt men to perform those"

This is my favorite picture.. This is after fixing/maintaining cars in the snow since we have no garage. I don't know anyone who would be smiling after that, except jeff.

The Flu

So since I have no idea how to reply to any of your comments in a convenient way, I will just have to post a new entry to answer you. First--the hike was at waterfall canyon in ogden...a much easier hike with the snow. Second--Ash, I am so glad that you are back safe and sound...I would love to be able to chat with you soon...and not in cyberspace. Third--geez, thanks for looking at this, I hope it is somewhat entertaining and nobody knows when summer begins here. I think we are safe in august.

So this week we were fortunate enough to be blessed with more snow. Today we were going to hit the slopes but last night when I came home from work after a 14 hour day, Jensen was laying there in all his barfed-up glory. Yes, he has the flu...my superior genes are taking care of him on this beautiful and oddly sunny day. Needless to say, we are both really bummed out about being trapped indoors...so I ditched him and decided to get some fresh library air since I have still been unable to spend the "remote access" amount for wireless internet.
